How do I measure my door correctly?

Please Do Not just measure the inner opening. You need to measure the exact frame area where you will stick the Velcro. We cut the screen to the exact dimensions you provide.Width: Measure the outer width of the door frame (left edge to right edge).Height: Measure from the top of the door frame down to the floor.(Tip: If you are unsure, we recommend adding 4cm to the width and 2cm to the height of your inner opening to ensure a secure fit.)

Do I need any tools to install this?

No tools are required. We provide a roll of heavy-duty adhesive velcro. You simply clean your door frame, stick the velcro tape, and press the screen onto it. We also include thumb tacks for extra security on wooden frames.

Because we start customizing your screen shortly after the order is placed, please contact us within 3 hours of payment if you need to change dimensions. Once production has started, we cannot modify the size.

No. Please provide the final finished size you want the screen to be. We will manufacture it exactly to your specifications without adding or subtracting anything.

Will the Velcro damage my door frame?

We use high-quality adhesive that is strong enough to hold the screen but can be removed. For most metal and vinyl frames, it leaves no residue. If you have painted wood frames, we recommend warming the velcro with a hair dryer before removal to protect the paint.

Yes! Because it is installed using Velcro, you can easily peel the screen off the frame for winter storage. The adhesive strip remains on your door frame, ready for you to re-attach the screen next spring.

What material is the screen made of?

Unlike cheap polyester screens found in supermarkets, ZOORMESH uses heavy-duty fiberglass mesh with a PVC coating. This material is fire-retardant, chemical corrosion-resistant, and tear-resistant. It keeps its shape well and withstands sun exposure without fading.

How do I clean the screen?

We recommend wiping it down with a damp cloth and mild soap while it hangs. Do not put it in a washing machine or dryer, as the tumbling may damage the magnets and mesh structure.

What if I measured my door wrong?

Because each screen is custom-cut to your specific dimensions, we cannot accept returns or refunds for customer measurement errors. Please double-check your measurements before ordering. If you are unsure, please contact our support team for guidance before purchase.

Is it pet-friendly?

Absolutely. Our center seam uses a continuous magnetic strip that snaps shut instantly. Your dogs or cats can push through easily, and the screen will close automatically behind them, keeping bugs out.

Can I install this on a sliding glass door?

Yes. For sliding doors, you can install the screen on the exterior frame. Since our screens open in the middle, you can easily walk through either side. Just measure the frame around the sliding opening.

What counts as a "Quality Issue"?

Quality issues cover manufacturing defects such as torn mesh upon arrival, weak magnets, defective velcro, or sewing errors. In these rare cases, simply send us a photo, and we will rush a replacement to you immediately.

Will it blow open in the wind?

We have engineered our screens with wind resistance in mind. Besides the full-length magnetic strip in the middle, we add extra gravity sticks (weights) at the bottom hem to keep the screen down and prevent it from being blown open by moderate breezes.

Will the magnets stick to the metal frame?

If you have a metal door frame, the magnets in the middle of the screen might be attracted to the frame if it’s very narrow. However, for most standard metal frames, this is not an issue as the screen is taut. If you are concerned, please contact us with a photo of your door.
